Cantelo, April (Rosemary)
Cantelo, April (Rosemary), English soprano; b. Purbrook, April 2, 1928. She studied piano and voice at the Royal Coll. of Music in London; was subsequently a member of the New English Singers and the Délier Consort; also appeared in opera with the Glyndebourne Opera and the English Opera Group; she also gave solo recitals. From 1949 to 1964 she was married to Sir Colin Davis.
