Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls Waterfalls on the River Zambezi, on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. Formed by water erosion along a fracture in the Earth's crust, islets divide the falls into five main sections. David Livingstone made the first European discovery in 1855. Maximum drop: 108m (355ft); Minimum width: 1700m (5580ft).
