If I Could Melt Your Heart - Peter/Edmund

Edmund is miserable without Peter and wants him back, but Peter is still mad at him. Edmund think it's best if he went home, but Aslan has a talk with him and Edmund decides to stay in Narnia and work things out with Peter. After they had a long talk, Peter realize that he needs Edmund in his life and take him back. Narnia is under attack and Peter as High King must go to war. Edmund fear losing Peter and plead to go with him. Peter says yes after doing some serious thinking about it. The next day they set out to war, and as the battle rages on Peter is horrified to learn that Edmund has been stabbed by Jadis and runs to his aid. As Edmund lay dying and grasping for breath, Peter has flashes of their time together. At the same time Edmund is dreaming of a cold, dark, place where he is without Peter. When he wakes Peter is with him, and the battle is over. At the coronation Peter the Manificent and Edmund the Just are crowned Kings of Narnia. And the rest, well, is to be continued...
