CTUIR Riparian Habitat Restoration

The Combined Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation work tirelessly for the restoration of riparian habitat along streams and rivers in the Walla Walla River basin. The native plants and trees which they plant with partner landowners grow to shade and cool the flowing waters helping the survival of migrating salmon and wildlife. Two men describe their work along the Walla Walla River to a young woman who is program advisor to a new WWCC college degree that will teach new technicians how to understand and take part in this great work.
