taken from "Taken From Vinyl" (staubgold 73 cd, 2006) This video was done by Sebastian Kutscher, a friend of Stefan's and a visual designer from Cologne who had previously done videos for Kreidler, Jan Jelinek or Antonelli Electr. The idea of the video goes back to some of the photogramms that Laszlo Moholy-Nagy did in the 1920s. Sebastian wanted to take the fixed shades of the photogramms and bring them into motion. Later on he would use a filter that created the hairy effect. The cats were Stefan's input to bring the articifial worlds into correspondence with nature which was what the tulips on the front sleeve of Amateur View were already about.
