Foundation Year Jharkhand Forum was founded in 2005 Popularity Jharkhand Forum is the first forum of its kind in Eastern part of India i.e. known as Jharkhand Region (Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Chhattisgarh and adjoining areas). Focus Issues - Its focussed on Developments issues that include - Industrial Displacements, Adivasi, Dalit, Mines, Minerals, Environment, Health, Education, Naxal, Poverty, Corruption, Governance, Crime, Forest and Socio-Economic Development etc. Geographical Coverage of our focussed Issues Entire India with special focus on Jharkhand Region but, issues wise it will go broader such as if we say Adivasi then its for entire Adivasi (South Asian or Indian subcontinent tribes) communities. But not the tribes of America, Australia and Africa etc and if we say Industrial Displacements then its for Industrial Displacements in entire India. Members Backgrounds - Jharkhand Forums members are from all kind of Professions including Development Professionals, Researchers, Writers, News Reporters, University Students, Govt. of India's officers, Policy makers, NGOs and NRIs etc. Membership - Jharkhand Forums membership is free and open to all individuals and Organizations.
