Peadar O'Donnell agus Cogadh na nDúchrónach. D'oibrigh Peadar mar eagraí do Ceardchumann Oibrithe Iompair agus Ilsaothair na hÉireann ó 1918. Bhí sé i mbun stailc san Otharlann Meabharghalair i Muineacháin agus ghlac na hoibrithe agus na hothair seilbh ar an fhoirgneamh agus chuir sé bratach dhearg os a chionn. Bhí Peadar i mbun colún d'Óglaigh na hÉireann i nDún na nGall chomh maith. Ón chlár "Peadairí­n na Stoirme". (Peadar O'Donnell and the Tan War. Peadar worked as an organiser for the Irish Transport and General Workers Union from 1918. He was in charge of a strike in the Psychiatric Hospital in Monaghan and the workers and the patients took over the building and raised a red flag above it.
