腹花の想

Experimental Micro-Movie. Visual Art by Lunalunanueva. Music by Keituji. This is my visual interpretation of Kei's Piece "Belly Flower". Here you have Kei playing the piece: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9MeJ1kgdC8&feature=related I asked him if I could make a video with his music and he kindly agreed. It is a very simple video. More about color, flashes and sensations than anything else. I think dreams are like that. At least what I can remember about my dreams. They always have this fragmented nature. That is what makes dreams... dreams. After I finished the video, I realized that it was a dream that a Belly Flower had about becoming an Orchid :) Kei made up a word in Japanese for the title. He says it is not a real word but it has a beautiful sound. Musicians think in terms of sound. That is just fascinating. If you are Japanese or if you speak Japanese, you might not be able to "understand" what it says... but listen to its sound. Here you have Kei's word: 腹(hara)means Belly 花(hana) means Flower の想(no sou) means ( 's dream) 腹花の想(Futt-ka no Sou) means Belly Flower's Dream. I hope you enjoy the video! Thank you Kei for the beautiful music. And thank you Pelle for watching it a lot of times before it was ready. Please feel free to comment. Saludos, Marie :) Wanna watch it on Vimeo? :) http://www.vimeo.com/1283164
