Since the 1940's the old International Ladies Garment Workers Union building in NYC's Garment District has served union members. It's been home to generations of clothing and textile workers, housed a health center and provided services for members and the surrounding community. After a 4-year marriage gone bad between UNITE and the former hotel and restaurant employees union, HERE President John Wilhelm has decided that the home of UNITE garment workers, as well as the nation's only union-owned bank, now belong to him. Retired garment workers spent their lifetimes building this union. We've heard a lot from lawyers and John Wilhelm, but don't the workers matter?
