His most famous pupils was Bellini, Mercadante and both the Ricci brothers. This quartet is dramatic and invigorating. The form is clear and easy to follow. Listen to the syncopated flute line accompanying Ines and Pietros "Quasi non sa resistere" an example of Zingarellis rhythmic vitality. A mastery quartet.
