Usually after age 13, the teenager becomes more preoccupied by his/her appearance. For some teenagers, the expression of individualism is through body art such as tattooing and body piercing. Diseases and other harms relate to tattoo are very considerable. Also removing a tattoo is a painstaking process, usually involving several treatments and considerable expense. Teens care for their appearance must find a safe, colorful and joyful way.
