The new Sri Lankan Railways Museum in Colombo

A selection of photos taken at the Railway museum in Colombo. As with all museums the lighting was not very suitable for photography. It is rather a small place with only three locomotives. Two steam and one diesel. There are some nice old bits of railwayana and a couple of waggons. Such a shame as Sri Lanka has an abundance of old Locos rusting away in yards around the country. Still this is a start and hopefully more items will be added later as time and money permit.
