One Big Paw: Trick Training my Percheron Horse Toby

Continuing to teach my Percheron Toby to shake hands. We started with a rope around his left foot. Now we've progressed to using a wand to tap the outside of his leg to ask him to shake hands. Finally, we've worked our way up to asking for a SHAKE of hands with no rope or wand, just extending my right hand forward and saying SHAKE. One safety consideration here is that the horse may offer to shake even when you don't ask during the session. Toby is trying to please here and he also wants his carrot.
