Children's Literature Final Project...The Media and Celebrity's influence on Young Girls

The media and celebrities have great influence over young girls, whether they realize it or not. The media portrays eating disorders, alcohol and drug use, and partying as if it were glamourous and an everyday occurance. Celebrities indulgence in these behaviors which leds young girls to want to be like them. It is an adults duty to talk to the young girls in his/her life and explain the realities of this kind of lifestyle, as well as to encourage healthy eating habits and healthy lifestyles.
