Guernsey Has The Most Snow For Many Years

This was Guernsey in the Channel Islands on the 2nd February 2009 when 8 inches of snow fell overnight. This was the most snow we had had for 20 years. I did not get to film this till 11am - 1pm and by 12 noon it had started to melt, but by 4pm it started freezing again. We do not normally get snow here in the winter, only wind and rain and the odd sunny day. Nor do we get much temperatures below 5 centigrade, which we have had plenty days like that this winter. This winter seems to have been a lot colder then normal here. Global warming is a con boys and girls. WHAT IS YOUR WINTER WEATHER LIKE ? ARE YOUR WINTERS GETTING COLDER OR HOTTER ? Leave a comment.
