International Conference for Media in Education 2009 in Seoul National University. All directed by Dekiss Song. "ICT and Education"is emerging research field since the Internet has been diffusing all over the world. The Internet provides us to great opportunities as well as unexpected disadvantages. When we conduct an educational research, we should be careful about both bright and dark sides of the Internet. In this sense, Korea is the one of most advanced country in terms of information infrastructure. Japan has a long history of research on broadcasting education and audio-visual education. If we can share research outputs from both countries, it will be a great contribution of advancement of education. This collaboration should be long term oriented so that collaborative research will emerge through interaction among Korea and Japanese scholars.
