Dawkins Baffled Ask A Geneticist

Dr. Dawkings appeared baffled when asked to give an example of an evolutionary event that increased the informational contend of a genome. Dr. David Comings points out that in 1970 a colleague of his, Dr. Susumu Ohno published a classic book entitled Evolution by Gene Duplication. The lessens of this book are described and show that increases in the information content of genomes are extremely common in evolution.
