It's a Brand New Day

One fine evening, the boys were sitting about the table enjoying a fine dinner (most likely cooked by Scott Reister) when the talk turned to household shirts. The "Songs of Praise" songbook was brought out and those present examined the pictures. Eventually it was decided that "random dude playing guitar on a rock" would be the choice. Joseph noted that the song next to the picture was one that his father had sung when he had been a UCOer in days of yore. The boys fancied themselves making a music video of the song, and decided to make the dream come true. Days later, with John Hughes on guitar and Dan Keating on tambourine, Joseph Matthias led Dan Knaggs, Jason Tower, Nico Angleys, Chris Luea, Zach Mabee, Brian Laba, Ben Carpenter, Colin Miranda, Chris Diroff, Scott Reister, and Greg Hendricks in song. Filming started a week later and was finished within two. J Hughes then set to work on the editing and such and soon thereafter the project was finished. Special thanks to Ruth Gryniewicz and Charity Birk who also appeared in the film.
