LONG LIVE HIS MAJESTY KING BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ Today, December the 5th 2007 is the 80th Birth Anniversary of the Thai Monarch. It was the first time I got the chance to see the Father of this great nation in flesh. I am disappointed in the fact that I didn't have my DSLR with me... but here is a video that i took from other camera. What you probably wont be able to notice is that His Majesty is seated towards the side from where I'm shooting and he had his hand up, waving to the crowd who were waiting to get a glimpse of The Father of the Nation for a long time. I counted about 40+ cars in the motorcade, the actual figures will probably be much higher. Being a foreigner in Thailand, it was an amazing moment for me.. I cant even imagine how the Thai people must have felt. LONG LIVE HIS MAJESTY KING BHUMIBOL ADULYADEJ
