Waverley Greens (HEIL PT1000) Pt 1

On one Tuesday of the 08/09 summer holidays, I made a nice early visit to Waverley Council, found on the coastal side of Sydney. This council is also known for it's tight streets and laneways, so you can guess that this council has manual collections for everything, serviced by a fleet of rear loaders. In this video, we have the fortnightly greens collection with a 15m HEIL PT1000 on a Hino FM, operated by a team of friendly drivers (thanks to 'em). I was told there're only two greens trucks; the one in the video and a larger 19m bodied one. You'll also notice this council uses wheelie bins for all their collections, which was introduced only about mid-way in 2008, so everything was still pretty new. Another thing you may notice in the video is how all the bins are set-out in a back lane. For this area atleast, when I went into the actual streets I was lucky to spot even one bin sometimes... deceiving whether it's garbage day or not, well it keeps the streets looking tidy! Anyway fellas, hope you enjoy the footage of another HEIL you'll find down here in Oz. It would be awesome if you rated and commented, and make sure you take a look at the second video of the greens collection, as well as the recycling and garbage services. Body Make: HEIL Environmental Ind. Model: 15m PT1000 Chassis: Hino FM Council: Waverley Contractor: Council Works Collection Type: Greens / Vegetation
