Merle Oberon as Anne Boleyn

Clips of Oberon's limited scenes in the film 'The Private Life of Henry VIII'. The woman at the end of the video, who also states "what a lovely day", is Jane Seymour. Henry VIII is played by Charles Laughton. It's certainly not the best performance of Anne, and Oberon's scenes amount to less than 10 minutes. But I decided to post it as part of my videos on portrayals of Anne in films/TV. I do love how every woman in this has a 1930s hairdo! BTW -- I have got messages from some people asking me to look at other periods/kings/queens in English history. This channel will only be for Tudor history; however I don't mind posting other stuff on English history on another channel. I will be slow in uploading stuff as I don't finish my work until early June. But the new channel will include clips from all of Starkey's monarchy series, along with other documentaries and bits from dramas. I should say though that my knowledge on all things to do with modern history is appalling, so the new channel probably won't be that informative...
