In "Gestures: a Timeline", Mark Wiener presents the progression of his recent work: from early 2005, when citing as influences the urban landscapes of Reginald Marsh, he began to explore gesture as the subjects of his narrative abstraction; through present works where his gesture serves as the foundation for reflection upon the textural landscape and its layers that subliminally capture his imagination.
