India in need of another Green Revolution

The Green Revolution has been a mixed legacy and the greater irony is that the victories of the 1960s have now been reversed. In 1951, a tense Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru wrote to his sister Vijayalakshmi Pandit, also India's ambassador to the US, about his biggest domestic crisis that was fast turning into his trickiest foreign policy challenge.
