Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, Engeland, werd gebouwd voor John Churchill, de eerste hertog van Marlborough, tijdens de regering van koningin Anne. John Churchill kreeg het paleis als beloning voor zijn militaire verdiensten; Churchill versloeg in augustus 1704 het Franse leger bij het Duitse plaatsje Blenheim. De Britse staatsman Winston Churchill is een nazaat van John Churchill. In het paleis is aan hem een permanente tentoonstelling gewijd.
