CJTF-HOA Naturalization Ceremony

Members of the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Army take the oath of citizenship at a naturalization ceremony held here at the base cantina. The ceremony was the culmination of hard work and dedication of these Marines and Soldiers toward becoming U.S. citizens and was an emotional experience for many of them. The official party of the ceremony included Mr. W. Stuart Symington, US Ambassador to Djibouti, Mr. John Bulger, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services district director, and Mr. Jonathan Scharfen, USCIS deputy director.
