Self immolation and Thích Quảng Đức. There are those who have given their lives for others rights and liberty... Thích Quảng Đức is one of those who did so. He deserves remembrance and respect for the ultimate sacrifice in resistance, any human being can give - their life. I am not Buddhist but i recognise the depth of faith this man exhibited as one that is based on profoundly spiritual tenets and a courage that supersedes flesh. NB SPIRIT IS STRONGER THAN FLESH... "No greater love has a man than he give his life for others" - Jesus - Son of the Living God.
