Aerobic Respiration

Oxygen is the foundation of life and all biological systems that we studied this semester. The presence of oxygen is essential to many functions in the cell. This video examines aerobic respiration and the importance of oxygen in this metabolic pathway. First, we outline the process of normal aerobic respiration, through the Krebs cycle and electron transport chain. Then, we explain what would happen if oxygen was removed from the process and why it would not work. In doing so, we hope to further the proof of oxygen's importance in our environment.
