John Coffer The tintypes

Tintypes were used early in the history of photography; their use was discontinued in the 1870s after the development of glass plates because of the ability to replicate images. Artist John Coffer reenergised the ability to replicate images. the medium beginning in the 1980s. He lives and creates amazing one-of-a kind images in the Finger Lakes Region of New York in a hand-build house with no power and a hand-drawn well.
