The West Branch of the Penobscot River features some of the best Maine white water rafting. With adventuresome rapids like Nesowdnehunk Falls, Exterminator and the Cribworks. These great rapids are surrounded by the beautiful scenery and rugged terrain of the Katahdin area. Fun, exciting, beautiful, this whitewater rafting trip lasts for about 3hrs. Tiring but totally worth it!
