Elizabeth Taylor - "Richard Burton" - by Richard Bassett

Richard Burton was the second great love in the life of Dame Elizabeth Taylor, and had he lived...Elizabeth is convinced that they would have found their way back to each other again. Richard Burton gave up his world for Elizabeth Taylor and loving her was the most important thing that he ever did throughout his entire life. He would have given up all of his riches. He would have given up all of his fame. He would have given up everything to be with her again. His unexpected 1984 death threw Elizabeth into a grieving period for which I am sure that she has never truly recovered from. Romances after Richard Burton simply were not meant to be. Elizabeth Taylor is a very lucky lady having had these two great loves. Her only loves. In his private diaries, Richard Burton would obsess that he would perish if they were not together. And sadly, he did. Please donate to the cause that Elizabeth Taylor wrapped herself around with directly after Richard Burton's death. Raising money for HIV/AIDS. In 1985, she was in recovery from chemical abuse and wanted to live. And she wanted others to live as well. There is simply no end to the depth of emotion that this marvelous woman is capable of feeling.
