Circle Takes The Square - Non-Objective Portrait of Karma

from the album "As The Roots Undo" about the band: CTTS is easily the most popular of the hardcore emotional bands. They are also one of the few hardcore emotional bands still alive today. Their style is not entirely emotional hardcore, it has some hints of some thrash metal, melodic weird stuff, and punk but for the most part they are emotional hardcore. their music style is backed with a lot of synthesizer, not much guitar and the vocals sound very harsh and intense. In the realm of emotional hardcore, CTTS is only the tip of the iceberg. Not that it's a bad thing, it's just that they are usually the first band people listen to before getting deeper into this genre. the lyrics of CTTS are entirely poetic, and genius. however sometimes I feel that these hard to decipher lyrics get into the way of the emotion, sometimes I feel the most simplest words can convey they most emotion ; ). (ENTIRELY MY OPINION) the lyrics: the song kind of revolves around the topic suicide, at least I interpreted it that way. it has a long soothing intro for the first few minutes and explodes into action
