Beware - What staff can do to you on a psychiatric ward

"Going into a psychiatric ward is a very dangerous place to be - Why? Because psychiatrists can label you with bogus mental disorders from the DSM IV book called the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders. There is no scientific proof nor test that proves that mental illness exists. Sue went through all of the following except for the 4 point restraints and the CTOs: Because psychiatrists can give you psychiatric drugs some of which can cause brain damage. Then they want to see you once a month for life in the out patient department. Because you can be put in a 4 point restraints, leather straps put on both your wrists and legs and the staff tie you to the bed. I saw someone in a hospital, one of roommates who had the 4 point restraints, I untied her. This is barbaric and still goes on Because some psychiatrists may tell you not to have children because you'll pass on your so called bogus mental diorder to your children. Don't believe this at all because it is not true. Because psychiatrists can order for you to get a chemical restraint which is a needle given you in your hip. If you resist getting this needle, orderlies willbe called and come by and you will be forcibly injected with a needle of sedatives from a nurse which can knock you out for hours. Because psychiatrists can order you to take psychiatric drugs out in the community once you are released from the hospital. In Ontario, Canada, it is called CTOs which means Community Treatment Orders. The CTOs are administered by ACT Team which means Assertive Community Teams. This is forced drugging. Because, also on the ward, you can be given electroshock also known as ECT or shock which always causes brain damage 100% of the time. ECT is not safe and the ECT machines are not safe either. Electroshock is mostly given to women over 60 years of age and to women with post-partum depression. Sue Clark-Wittenberg from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada spent 18 years in and out of psychiatric hospitals from 1972 to 1990. Sue had ECT and has brain damaage from it, permanent memory loss and has difficulty learning new things. Sue was labelled with 15 different bogus psychiaatric disorders and was given 14 different psychiatric medications during the those 18 years. 7 of the psychiatric drugs Sue had taken cause brain damage. Sue was never told that any of her medications may cause brain damage. The big pharmaceutical companies make big dollars, lots of profit. Many pharmaceutical companies have had lawsuits regarding the adverse effects with some of their drugs and some people have sued them and won. Some people have sued the ECT machine companies and won because the machines were not safe. The American Psychiatric Association and Canadian Psychiatric Association routinely lie on their position papers about electroshock (ECT) stating it is safe which it is not. Read the article by Dr. Peter R. Breggin called "Disturbing News for Shock Doctors and Patients Alike" at the URL: www.huffingtonpost.com/dr-peter-breggin Dr. Breggin states in this article that there is proof that ECT always causes brain damage 100% of the time. See Dr. Breggin's huge website (www.breggin.com) a wealth of information regarding the harmful effects of ECT, the harmful effects of psychiatric drugs on adults and kids.
