Regalo Salvaje

The short animation Regalo Salvaje or Savage Gift, is an experimental 3D animation about the experience of an individual metamorphosis as applied to social consciousness. Text and images are used in this piece to directly address the idea of individual transformation brought on by societal realities of cultural assimilation. The animation in this work references a more symbolic manifestation of that reality when combined with the language of motion and sound. The experience of individual survival becomes a heightened expression that is achieved through the arrangement of word, motion, sound, and image.
