Happy Birthday Hayley Mills!!- Memories

I was going to make a tribute to Hayley Mills anyway & then I saw that her b-day is coming up on April 18th so I figured I'd make it a b-day montage dedicated to Hayley. Hayley is one of my favorite actresses, I like a lot of her movies so it would be really hard to choose a favorite. I really like "The Parent Trap", "Pollyanna", "The Family Way" & "The Trouble With Angels". I love that her movies are good,decent,funny films that family's can watch & laugh at & thankfully they will be around for many generations to come. Hayley was born on April 18th, 1946 in London,England, daughter of actor Sir John Mills & playwright Mary Hayley Bell. When she was 13 she was discovered by J. Lee Thompson, who was looking for a boy to play the lead role in "Tiger Bay". Walt Disney's wife loved her acting, and so she was contacted to participate in the Disney film, "The Parent Trap". She played a pair of twins who reunite their parents after a long time, and her acting earned her a special Oscar. In 1961 she did "Whistle Down The Wind" which is set in England & in the movie Hayley & some other children think the man hiding in their barn is Jesus. It's a very moving & poignant film. In 1963 she did "Summer Magic" with Burl Ives. In 1964 she was in "The Moon Spinners" & "The Chalk Garden" In 1966 she did "The Family Way" & "The Trouble With Angels" In 1971, she married Roy Boulting. They had a child, named Crispian Mills, and divorced in 1977. Crispian later became a singer with the band, Kula Shaker, and is now launching a solo career. Her second son, Jason Lawson, is the product of a 1970s relationship with actor Leigh Lawson. Mills has starred in many shows and plays since, more notably as a teacher in 'Saved By The Bell', and as Miss Anna Leonowens in the British production of "The King and I". She made her off-Broadway debut in Noel Coward's "Suite in Two Keys", in 2000. In 2007, Mills starred in the ITV1 Sunday-night drama Wild at Heart.
