Can EU Hear Us?

Happy St. George's day! Got the E.U. Blues? Sing along to this tongue in cheek anthem and lighten up! EU Blues/English Rain is composed and performed by Pete Thomas with lyrics by John Kelly. © EU Blues/English Rain Copyright Pete Thomas and John Kelly A Mighty Terrific Video production in response to the taxpayer funded European Union campaign: Can EU hear me? Launching on 30th April. The EU has organised a TV event billed as the 'biggest shout ever' which will be broadcast on MTV. This clip is our 'Opposition shout' on behalf of the Dutch, French and Irish who said NO and the British who were refused a referendum. If you'd like to put together your own 'shout' we'd love to hear from all corners of the United Kingdom. If you have a Scottish, Welsh or Northern Irish perspective on the E.U. and can produce a video clip send a message to ukipwebmaster. Notes from the Writer: The inspiration for the song arose after having supper with friends one evening. The conversation turned to the E.U. and someone suggested we change the Pound for the Euro, a couple of others nodded in agreement. I strongly disagreed and when asked why, my mind felt numb, almost with disbelief that I was having to argue with them. The conversation quickly changed to something else, but I felt I had to express my thoughts. The following morning I sat at the PC and out came the EU Blues/English Rain. John Kelly
