Gerry Marsden & the lads playing their signature hit whilst being ferried cross the Mersey in 1965. From the film of the same name.. I'd love to have been on that Ferry that day to see this being filmed. The song really invokes strong feelings about a time and place, and a way of life that are - sadly - long gone in England.
