Wingless Gall Wasp in Winter タマバチ無翅♀の雪上歩行2

Another female of wingless gall wasp (a.k.a. gallfly, family Cynipidae) prowling on the snow-covered mountain track. Found in the sunny afternoon (0 deg C) of late-December 2008, Japan. Her body length was 5mm. I brought the live specimen home and released her after the filming. Deshaker plugin for VirtualDub was used.
