Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Confederacy style dances Part 1

Haudenosaunee also called Iroquois Confederacy is made up of the Cayuga, Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Seneca and Tuscarora Native American Indians. They were some of the first tribes to encounter non-Indians. Today they successfully try to keep their traditional dances and languages intact. Here are some examples of their efforts. Haudenosaunee cultural leaders teach the American Indian Dance Theatre the dances of the Iroquois Confederacy.
