Chimera: Folie à Deux

Premise: Virtue is not left to stand alone. Addendum: Alternate Reality; Sequel to Chimera: Redux. Memo: There is a semi detailed scene analysis listed below that you can refer to if the video is confusing. I personally think the video is & should be pretty self explanatory, as I tried to make it appear that way. Once again, I'd like to stress that Gwen's role in this saga is that of Ethan's wife. She doesn't know a thing about Theresa, other than the fact that she's Ethan's ex-love, and that they have a child together. Also, I like to believe that my version of Gwen is above all the petty bullshit that you've seen on Passions. This video will more than likely be the last appearance that Gwen makes in this trilogy, but you never know...I may or may not have her pop back into town in the final chapter. I will say this, though: Gwen, should she appear in the finale, will NOT be after Ethan. I'd just like to give some closure for the character, and to show that there is life after a difficult breakup. :D Chimera - Folie à Deux: Scene By Scene Analysis Definition: A condition in which symptoms of a mental disorder, such as the same delusional beliefs or ideas, occur simultaneously in two individuals who share a close relationship or association. Folie à deux (literally, "a madness shared by two") is a rare psychiatric syndrome in which a symptom of psychosis (particularly a paranoid or delusional belief) is transmitted from one individual to another. 0:00-0:21: Pilar finds out Theresa is gone; Antonio delivers the goodbye letter that Theresa left. Flashes of the Lopez-Fitzgerald family grieving over the loss of Theresa. 0:21-0:40: Pan on Ethan. He falls into a dream like state, remembering Theresa. The fights that led up to her disappearance, the betrayal she felt, etc. 0:40-0:59: Gwen's ephipany. She thinks about her relationship with Ethan, their arguments over Theresa's disappearance, Ethan's distance regarding their marriage. 0:59-1:18: Gwen & Ethan talk to friends, respectively. Gwen confides in Sheridan about Ethan's love for Theresa, whilst Ethan confides in Chad about his inability to move on without the love of his life. 1:18-1:38: Gwen's realization that Ethan does not love her. She vows to move on with her life. 1:38-1:58: Ethan's discussion with Gwen about their relationship. Gwen informs him that she's leaving him, leaving Harmony. 1:58-2:18: Enter Theresa. She is focused completely on raising her son, but wonders if Ethan Martin will ever know his father. 2:18-2:36: Ethan's encounters with Fancy & Noah remind him of the sole reason of why his marriage to Gwen didn't work...Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald. 2:36-2:56: Theresa confides in Fox & Whitney about her inability to get over her lost love, and the problem it poses in raising her son. 2:56-3:15: Ethan researches Theresa's history, her whereabouts, etc. Through various sources (i.e. Woody), he is able to get an inclination of where she is. 3:15-3:35: Ethan finally locates & calls Theresa, alerting her that there is a family emergency and that she needs to come back to Harmony...as soon as possible. 3:35-4:03: Theresa recalls one of her last rendezvous with Ethan's. After some soul searching, she alerts Whitney that she's going back to Harmony. Fade to black with Theresa leaving her new life to come back to the one she left behind.
