DCFO Jerry O'Brien's Gambia Challenge on Points West

Avon Fire & Rescue Service's Deputy Chief Fire Officer Jerry O'Brien cycled, ran and canoed across The Gambia to raise vital funds for GAFSIP - Gambia and Avon Fire Services in Partnership. GAFSIP sends equipment that Avon no longer uses to The Gambia and provides vital training to keep their fire and ambulance services running.
