Jensen Kirk has been pursuing this game we call hip hop for a total of 2 1/2 years, and writing raps as a youngin' since his early stages of 11 & 12 years old. He has been influenced by an eclectic range of musicians and artist such as Tupac, Elton John, Jimmy Hendrix, Jay-Z, Marvin Gaye & Frank Sinatra just to name a few. This cat was literally born with music in his genes. His grandfather played the piano and the sax in a mid/late 50's band called "Society Trubadors". Mean while, his grandmother was a hair stylist for many entertainers during that era including Little Richard & his wife. Jensen's mother inherited these talents as a singer & piano teacher for the blind. Jensen has been blessed to be around certain well known entertainers/friends, including one of his biggest writing mentors & influences such as Rufus Blaq. Over the years Jensen has continued to prefect his unique sound, both as an artist and song writer. In the spring of 2007 jensen released his first album , "Most Anticipated," exclusively through iTunes, and in April of 2008, released his first radio single called "California Girl," feat. Junior. As he moves forward with his music career, he continues to network through a brilliant machine called "myspace". He is currently writing songs for various artist and is on his way to landing a major label deal with help from his managment and support from his fans & family
