This is a sharp detective based on the novel "The Theater of the Dead" by Mikhail Mart who is a well-known master of complex intrigues and unpredictable plot. On his vacations prosecutor Zakharov was among the audience of the play where the main character was assassinated on the stage. Zakharov starts investigating all the stage props and actors. Although, during the next play with all the investigation committee present another actor gets murdered. Zakharov finds out that this is only the beginning of the ominous plan aimed at killing others. How he can find out who are they? He has to understand who needs it. He has to sort out those specific relationships at the theater among all the people. And Zakharov has to do it quickly, because death is looking for another victim...
