ALG Vietnamese Picture Story Le Loi

Antonio Graceffo teams up with Nguyen Chu Nam Phuong to create a series of videos to help foreigners learn the Vietnamese language. In this first, short video, Nguyen Chu Nam Phuong uses pictures to tell the story of Le Loi, the great Vietnamese hero, who drove out the Ming invaders, in the 14th century. ALG (Automatic Language Growth) is a listening based language acquisition method. Without the aid of a dictionary, students just sit and listen to a native speaker, telling stories, giving lectures, interacting with other natives speakers and so on. Learning is not forced or synthetic. The language is learned the natural way. Vietnamese is an incredibly difficult language to pronounce. So students should concentrate on listening and wait a very long time before beginning speaking.
