Crowds Celebrate Obama at Valois in Hyde Park, Chicago on Nov 5th!!

A joyous crowd lined down the block to celebrate Barack Obama's historic win at a free breakfast hosted by Valois restaurant in Hyde Park, Chicago on November 5th. In the tradition of Chicago's first Black mayor, Harold Washington and Bill Veeck, President-elect Barack Obama has been known to stop in Valois, a diverse restaurant known for its down-to-earth food, notable Hyde Parkers as well as common folk. On east 53rd street in Hyde Park, cars honked horns for Obama, T shirts were selling fast, international media were interviewing the crowd and great breakfast was had by all on the first day after the historic win and election rally held in Grant Park, Chicago.
