Ragheb El Itriby in his PVC pressing shop

On 25 June 2007 Ragheb El Itriby gave his friends Adel and Ted a tour of his poly vinyl chloride (PVC) pressing shop in Heliopolis, which is a suburb of Cairo, Egypt. In this short video clip Ragheb explains one of the production processes in Arabic to Adel. PVC pressed over wood can be made to simulate fine wood grain on, say, doors, tabletops, etc. PVC is also available in other attractive styles.
