Janata Party endorses Jayalalithas stand Janata Party President Subramaniam Swamy has endorsed Jayalalitha Jayarams statement that it is the LTTE which is an obstacle to the Sri Lankan Tamils in securing their due political and human rights.. In a statement, Dr. Swamy said Jayalalitha had correctly said at a media briefing in Chennai that the terrorist outfit was using the Tamil civilian population as hostage and shield against the advancing Sri Lankan Army. He agreed with her comment that this was causing civilian casualties and that the pro LTTE politicians in Tamil Nadu demonstrating against alleged atrocities by the humanitarian operations, were just a sham drama..
