Brendan Laws talking labor issues

Brendan Laws, a member of UH Students Against Sweatshops (http://uhstudentsagainstsweatshops.wordpress.com/) and UH Students for Fair Trade, (http://uhfairtrade.org/) was hanging out at a little pat on the back ceremony for "Recycle mania" which is a deal where U of Houston pretends to be green because they collected a few cans around campus for a few weeks. All of a sudden they let anyone get on the mic to speak about recycling and the video shows the rest. The guy that follows him is the outgoing Student Government Association president who thinks spending your time working for human rights is a bad idea and then next in the video we see Dr. Renu Khator who is the chancellor and president of UH trying to pretend that she didn't hear anything about human rights issues on our campus. Of course she makes almost $600,000 a year plus benefits and lives in a fancy house that the taxpayers foot the bill for, so what does she care? http://tinyurl.com/c3kl36 Apparently not too much as you can see in the video.
