Weather in a Tank - Global Circulation - Planetary Wave Regime with Temperature Comparison

In this video, the temperature data are shown on the left-hand side of the frame. Each graph corresponds to one of the 6 temperature sensors that were installed in the tank, 3 at the bottom and 3 at the top. As the wave, which is colder than the recirculation cell around it, passes the temperature sensors, the temperature drops significantly on all sensors, most noticeably at the sensors located in the middle.
