The Spanish Inquisition Museum

http://www.expatperu.com The Spanish Inquisition was established by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Castile in 1478 with the approval of Pope Sixtus IV. It was carried out in several Spanish colonies, such as Peru and Mexico, and was not abolished until 1834. Inquisition Museum is located in downtown Lima in the original building where those suspected of heresy were tried and tortured.
