Pedro Barreto (violin) 17 years old - Daniela Dikova (piano) Live Recording XI International Violin Competition "Petar Toskov" Belgrade - Serbia november 2008. Pedro Barreto was born on 04.9.1991 in Campinas / São Paulo - Brazil where he began his musical studies. Since 2006 he studies at the National School of Music Liubomir Pipkov (Sofia - Bulgaria) in the violin class of Prof. Blagorodna Taneva. He has also participated in masterclasses with Profs. Mincho Minchev (Professor of the Folkwang Hochschule - Essen), Sergey Kravchenko (Professor of the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory) and Svetlin Russev (Professor at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris). He won the second prize in the "First International Competition for Japanese and Bulgarian Music" ("Young Virtuosos 2008"); second prize in the "XI International Violin Competition Petar Toskov" (Belgrade - 2008), first prize in the "V International Competition Young Virtuosos Emil Kamilarov" (Sofia 2009) and first prize in the "XXXIV International Violin Competition Nedyalka Simeonova" (Haskovo 2009).
